FSBC Private Lessons
We encourage members participating in the swim team to reach out to our coaches for private lessons. Group Swim Instructor Laura Aimone also offers private lessons at the club.
Ben Hair Just-Swim-for-Life
FSBC donates pool space to local non-profit Ben Hair Just-Swim-for-Life to offer low-cost swim lessons to area low-income children, teens, and adults. Over 200 children have benefited from free swim lessons at FSBC during the past several summers.
In addition to swim lessons, FSBC hosts the Ben Hair Splash Club, a program that provides a transitional step between learning to swim and competitive swim team.
Laura Aimone grew up around the water, first swimming and then playing water polo. She began teaching swim lessons in high school. After playing water polo for the UVA club team, she was their head coach for several years. Laura has been teaching swim lessons for the past 10 years. She believes swimming is a life skill!
Clare Inlow is a Senior Coach for the FSBC Swim Team. Clare is so excited to return to Fry’s Spring for her fifth summer coaching and her 16th summer overall at FSBC! She is a senior at James Madison University studying Inclusive Early Childhood Education. She can’t wait to see all her dolphins again and continue her favorite summer traditions!
